The St. John's Metro Area

Fourteen communities along the easternmost edge of North America. We work in every one of them — and across the wider Avalon too.

About the Region

The St. John's Metro Area (the StatsCan Census Metropolitan Area) stretches from Bay Bulls in the south to Bauline in the north, wraps around Conception Bay in the west, and meets the open Atlantic in the east. It's one region with fourteen distinct municipalities, each with its own character — from downtown row houses to ocean-cliff villages where your neighbours are mostly puffins.

Most of the actual real estate transactions in eastern Newfoundland happen here: in St. John's itself, in Mount Pearl, Paradise, CBS, Torbay, and Portugal Cove–St. Philip's. The smaller communities — Bauline, Flatrock, Pouch Cove — are where buyers go when they want the ocean at the bottom of the lawn and a fifteen-minute commute to it.
